I am unattached
Free from ties that bind
I yearn no living mortal
Nor have I sought to find
I do not wallow in my loneliness
I embrace it and embark
Into a world of emptiness
Taking comfort in the dark
No nagging words to stir me
And break my freedom down
I’m never ever truly lost
If I don’t want to be found
And this is where my comfort lies
Away from eyes that pry
So that I can live out my life
With no one asking why
