Sometimes it's blank and
I sit and look but don't see
don't really hear much either,
and then I snap out of it
back into the thick of it.

keep us safe,

yeah
a Kalashnikov's fine
but if you've got
a brain as scrambled as mine,
you'll forget to load it.
