Aug 1
After five and still dark
can someone please switch on
the sun.

August must run in my genes
and means that July has left me.

At the end of the pier
I see her
She sees me
and we dive into the depths
of a welcoming sea,

we surface and sink
I blink and
She's gone

can somebody please
switch
on the sun.
