I could have been there
sat in a deckchair
licking an ice cream
but where was I?
I
was toiling away
and this day
wasn't meant for that.

I have to consider this carefully
work hard and be tired
or live bored and carefree.

It's another trap
I see that,

The results of the general election
may give me a sense of the direction
to take
meanwhile
my bones ache
which is of no consequence
in the grand scheme of things.
