In the darkness I was standing,
Your light slowly blinding.
Take my hand you said politely
I held it tight, please don't mind me.

Afraid of lifting,
thinking you'd fall by having,
my grip around your body tightly.
Yet you somehow pulled me out,
not fearing, the risks that were behind me.

You are the one I've searched for.
The one that came through.
My heart is no longer a void because of you.

I feel like I owe you something but you keep saying it's nothing.
You are the one that says, you and I were meant to meet.
It's fate, let it be

How can you shine so bright in a world that's black and white.
Tell me your secret and be my guide.
Don't let me be behind you, let me stand by your side.
