The Drink Takes The Man

I’m not a Preacher and I’m not here to
Judge, we all take pleasure in a drink
But maybe I’m here to just give you
A thought or something to at least think

I’ve seen it happen time and time again
This was how my father met his demise
And it brought out his inner demon
And he changed right before my eyes

So I’m just giving a word of caution
When you’re flirting with disaster
You got to be in control with alcohol
Don’t let it become your master

Please go on and enjoy your holidays
But do it with care and reserve
Don’t let the alcohol ruin your life
Because it can definitely throw you a curve

Take it from someone who’s knows
Whether its from the bottle or the can
I’ve seen the man as he takes the drink and I’ve seen it when The Drink Takes The Man
