Before I post this, I want to say a big thank you to all you wonderful poets that have read me
I have left alink for you lovely few and thank you my skilled pens X

The mornings song was sapphire and crisp
6.30 in the morning did his wristwatch give
he looked at the face besides his pillows
tears in his eyes, liken to a weeping willow
He wanted so not to wake her
to tell her it was time to dress
he wanted to tell all was well
and walk out with her hair all in a mess
Her thoughts were the same
if he wakes me he will have his self to blame
for she did not want to leave him
but her departure was near
An hour later both with her cases in their hands
got a black cab from Kings Cross to the Strand
and by the gates of platform 10 kissed for the last time
for never would these two hearts see each other again.
