They'll tell you that the time hasn't arrived
and yet we know that the time's been and gone
but even though we know
we'll still wait in that state of anticipation
hoping we're wrong and they're right.

as sure as night follows silent
in the footsteps of what's meant
we will never
find out the whole truth.
