Oct 2023
sometimes led by youth
often long dead poets

a harsh unforgiving drought
imprisoned within silence

a song begins singing in unfathomed depths
where before there was only soundless darkness

words break bread
and serve wine

a poet breathes in celebration
forgetful of unmitigated dryness.
