Aug 2023
and again he’s felling a tree
telling me
that it’s good to thin them
He
could be speaking of men
and who would know?

we’re taking it slow
trudging everywhere
which is like
here and there
only more so,

it’s a privilege afforded
the few
and if you’re one of
the few
you’ll know who
I’m referring to.

It’s getting late
night’s waiting
to drop in and
say hello,
time
for me to go.
