Something is dragging me somewhere
somewhere where I don't want to be
and I have no choice in the matter
I am chained and I cannot break free.

that's history
the back of my mind tells me
and I listen to that voice in my head.

Not sure about the construct
but **** it
I'll give it a go

and the hourglass drops down
two more grains of sand,
and whadaya know
it worked.
