I have a stand-in that stands in for me
when I can't be arsed to get off the settee,
I use him to change the channels on
the black and white TV

he doesn't seem to mind
seems almost blind to my
laziness,

I call him slim
which is what I used to be
when I wasn't glued to the settee
watching the TV.
