I have trekked across a desert
I have sailed the seven seas
I have seen so many wonders
To bring me to my knees
But none of it really matters
When you're all alone
Because seeing all these wonders
Is nothing on your own

Sharing these experiences
With someone that you love
Be it friend, brother or lover
Is like a gift sent from above
The pyrimids seem so much bigger
And the oceans seem more vast
Being with that special someone
It makes those moments last

When you're with that special someone
Simply drinking a cup of tea
Can be so incredible
Like hearing a symphony
Looking for that someone
Is only the very start
In life's greatest adventure
The mystery of the heart
For K&H
