Lovely ancient woodland wildflower,
protected you are.
Velvet sea of blue you can create
Your bell like appearance makes you look sad
It’s not because of the upcoming sun
you hang your head
It’s just the way you thrive
In partial shade.
Still you grow too where waters meet land
For humility and gratitude you stand
and the world loves you.

The Bluebell, a protected wildflower.
Seems purple in light of sun.
