kissing that boyfriend of mine
is far from divine

we usually partake
of a short peck
as his breath
is like a sardine trawler's deck

our lip locking
is always an abbreviated affair
staying attached at the mouth
isn't our fair

truncating our kissing
suits us to a tee
and we get along
rather agreeably
