When the bar lights blink off and on
last call announced half hour before
we work the odds as drunken sailors.
Singing sirens calling from the door.
We waltz into the night rain then we
***** our naked way to the sacred bed.
We love the best drunk strangers can.
I wake in light a prisoner in my head.
