Thinking it was a craft
I spent years
perfecting
the art of appearing daft
and
I managed to fool them all,

then
it all went random,
'something for the weekend'
became as simple as a ******,

people became forthright
almost as if
it was their birthright
I just wanna watch
Ben Cartwright
down there on the
Ponderosa.
