Never forget
There’s an ocean
Around us
Through logic
And reason
Its meaning
Confounds us
Unbound
Although wound up
In threads
And unwoven
Awoken
It speaks in our heads
Yet it tethers
Connects
And continues
To carry
Reminds us
That wisdom
Is simply be wary
Apparent to you
Could to others
Be barren
Yet wearing this
Gallant
Medallion
We earn
Is but shade to the shadow
To which we return
