I am not a saint, dear reader
But I have had religious obsessions
I have more hope in basketball
Than Bibles or benedictions
Asia calls my name
In the silence and the sadness
Prayers for Taiwan
Ice and snow and water and flame
Born too late
Married the wrong woman
Fatherhood is joy
Basketball my game
American politics is Chaos
Libraries are quiet
The gun nuts are ******
Her smile still the same
Just had to get it out
I do not blame.
