But I Remember You
The fracture of illicit love
cannot
escape the seismic clash.
We enter into time. A breech
butting of tomorrow into the
canal of forgetting, For who
can remember the slide of
yesterday?
We slipped like ice
into the breaking curren'ts
urge to melt. We canceled
the moment, repealed the
lesson. Stripped of
experience, we rushed into
love's last
Forever
Embrace.
