Stored deep inside my memory bank
Are my memories of her
A reconstructed cocktail
You need only to stir
To jostle my brain
The despair and the rage
And render it clear
From anymore pain
Remembering the good
A smile, a wink
And a good conversation
That made me think
Her caring, her kindness
The love of my life
Taken too soon
And just doesn’t feel right
