She stared into his eyes
Filled to the brim with lies
It was liars she despised
And swindlers who connived
It was as if she’d won a prize
When he admitted he had lied
She admired his new candor
To which she had been previously deprived
They lived happily ever after
In a world they both contrived
Filled with butterflies and laughter
Where nothing ever dies
