You say I am your first love,
You promise never to forget me,
I have doubts ,
How come you have forgotten your parents.
Weren't you the one who would not leave her side for a moment,
Crying your heart out even if she was in the bathroom,
Weren't you the one who followed her everywhere,
Holding onto her skirt,
Weren't you the one who wanted your dad to take you for long drives as soon as he came home,
They gave in to most of your demands ,
That was their love for you,
Now you have left them when they need you most,
Not a single visit or call.
We are still neighbours,
They ask about you whenever I visit mum.
