is a beast with peppermint breath
and shiny white teeth. Sometimes
they hide their claws in the bottom of

their bedroom drawers. Sometimes
their sweet song is exiguous as their
black leather thongs. Sometimes you're

trapped in a bubble that only leaves you with
a measure of trouble. And sometimes it takes
a sharp pin to see all the years you've put in.
