In the dream
    I had last night
the stars were all aglow;
    Glittered sand
    still hugged the land
and streets shone like the snow.
    The city lights
    lit up the night
and sifted from the sky;
    Like dewdrops fair
    they sparkled there
too thrilled to wonder why.
