Didn’t the thought
Ever occur
That we always knew
Who they really were ?
A leopard doesn’t
Change it’s spots
Nor are its spots
Confused for dots

Didn’t we know
What they’d do
With hegemony
Over me and you?
Roe v Wade
Was the biggest clue
And now they’ve dropped
The other shoe

We voted for the conservative lot
So now we’ve got
What we’ve got
I’m asking you, have we not?
It’s much too late now
For getting hot
Or suggesting
It was all a gigantic plot

I believe women
Should have the right
Not to go gently
Into that bad night
Instead I believe
That they should fight
As opposed to simply
Being uptight
