Wrong crowd empty cup
she dipped her toes
in the wrong throes
tumbling like a lost kite
head-spinning
blinded by the height,
the eyes have vision
but this naive girl
had compromised her sight,
abandoned and disgraced
catching the twenty-two
in-between
a rock and a hard place.
