Eaves
                     Dropping

     I’m sitting by my window
staring out at the grey sky,
   skeletal trees, one has last
years nest, resembles a heart
encased behind ribs in a torso.
Creviced wind odes a sad air
    blown water buds traverse
     on the paned glass, tears
     are everywhere, dropping.
