totter
teeter
got to keep it stacked,
difficult
when everything's cracked.

But
it's not like I'm crossing Niagara
or
taking ****** to keep me up,

the fine line,
the tightrope,
one side is desperation
and the other side is hope.

It's Wednesday,
the fifth day and there's
only one way that we can go,

the duvet calls to me,
'come back and lay under me',
an offer I can hardly refuse,
but I do.
