Biden begins to feel the gelid winter air/
for his polling numbers aren't so fair/
the people of the country did opine/
his leadership isn't all that fine/
hence our disappproving despair/

they were in need of administration flair/
which would bring urgent repair/
yet none was on offer in his mine/
Biden begins to feel the gelid winter air/

our hopes our dreams of sunny alair/
being an unmaterialized affair/
his policies falling short in twine/
like that of a poorly directed vine/
his current percentages lowly of stair/
Biden begins to feel the gelid winter air/
Rondeau

A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short - a refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).
