Dec 2021
some people live from bottom up,
building each layer with measuring cup,
others swing from twig to branch
'till one false step starts avalanche
as they tumble with no soft landing
none to catch them as they reel without standing

and if they've thrown a rope on high
to catch an angel or ride the sky,
then chances are they'll be caught in its noose,
dangling down as slaughtered goose,
whilst overhead stands derrick-like structure
splitting its sides in laughing rapture
