In candor I come to you
Totally honest
Philandering days
Are behind me
I promise
Can finally be
The real me
That you wanted
And face up to all of my demons
Undaunted
For long have you haunted me
Don’t go away
And the spectral lament
Is what I didn’t say
Or compose to you
Wholly
In signature cipher
Another farewell
That you couldn’t decipher
