I will miss you when you’re gone,
I will cry and regret my choice,
I’ll want it back when this is done,
I’ll wish I had silenced my voice,
But there is no life within this death,
And there is no hope in sadness,
I can’t forever hold my breath,
And to go on like this is madness,
Life is for living, win or lose,
And I am one to seize the day,
And though I falter as I choose,
I’ll go stumbling on my way,
I love you as the day, the sun,
I need you as the moon, the night,
But if in your heart I’m not the one,
The way away from you is right,
For inside your mind I cannot see,
And what’s in your heart I cannot tell,
I only know how you treat me,
And it is time I leave this hell.
