Eyes as jewels in the sun
every facet alive like fire
a complextion of snow come
in early parts of winter
as seasons start to turn
with the slow passing tide
I ask you so plainly
where will you reside
hold my hand
through spring and fall
winters chill
can do no harm
the sun seems to hide
inside your embrace
I cant bring myself to just
freeze
For a lover who I thought was much lovelier than she was.
