Funny how life works sometimes
And where friends enter your life
Friends who share your happy times

Some times friends are always there
To offer some advice
Other times friends let you know

They help to keep you grounded
Let you know when you've done wrong

Some friends never meet though
They are friends through word alone
But, still you have a friendship
Though you don't talk on the phone

I have many friends like this
Who I listen to at times
Many of them are on here
Just reading all my rhymes

But behind the "like" clickers
Are the true friends who you know
Would shoot you with both barrels
If you ego...well..you know

I have to share a secret
I have one friend like I said
We met while up on facebook
Though a comic known as "Red"

She is a friend...no family
To both us, and Mum as well
And we know when life is over
This friend will not go to hell

She's important to our life now
And I am **** glad that we met
Though we've never met in person
But, we've had laughs we won't forget

Today it is her birthday
She doesn't look her age one bit
And I will not share the number
Or...I'll hear it....sure as ****!!!
