there is more merit to an idea, thing or person
than there likely is:

I have Faith in Humanity
I have Faith in my Friends
I have Faith in my Art
I have Faith in my Self.
Though One cannot be too disappointed
when One learns that one's Faith is misfounded;
and One must be able to accept that fact
when it may well come to pass.
