Dearest friend
There from the beginning and probably the end
Let's not go there quite yet
Dried my tears
Calmed my fears
You listened when there was nobody there too
Honored to be given the gift and treasure of you in my life
Henry David and you are my muses
Mother Nature and Father Sky approve
Your lessons have made me stronger and more resilient
More caring and care in a world where that isn't easy to come by
Lucky enough you have been the companion that let's me be myself
When others turned their backs or didn't want to be bothered
You were there and have always been
Thanks for all you have given and shared
