The sky opens up above me
I taste tears from way up high
The floodgates open wide enough
For me to take a dive
Sinking in the deep end
I take a gulp of air
Hold my breath and dip below
In hopes to reappear
Until I rise again
Suppressing all my fears
Safe again inside my home
Until the rain all disappears
