Friday
done and dusted,
but it
just
doesn't feel like the weekend,
feels more like the beginning of
a dead-end in Hatch End
or a Doner in Stanmore.

I am going to bed
there' a book to be re-read.

I must be though it can't be
or I could be getting old,

I'm done but
don't dust me yet
