I don't think Melville was
A heart-broken patriot
I think he saw the truth

There was a bleachers cleering
Race riot brawl
In the gymnasium of my youth

Quiet is a curious thing
I remember the monastery

My first real panic attack
Very, very scary

One is the loneliest number
Tonight, this night, I know

Seattle distant now
Like the cedar snow

         Ay yay yo!
