Dec 2020
I died quietly last night in a cancer
  ward with whispering machines and
silent sobs gripping my hand as it
turned stone cold and stiff at last.
  Sirens screamed and patients screamed.
I was at peace in perfect silence as
the horrible noises of living in pain
  kept fading into death's forgiveness.
