“For where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:21 KJV

Here we dig, in our diamond mines
Treasures! Wealth! Riches to find!
Looking for something
To please our minds.
They seems so elusive as
The years unwind...
Wouldn't it be wonderful!
The gemstones shine!
But we fight for rocks.
Like all MANKIND.

Mammoth heaps of mammon!
The Midas touch!
We look for rubies, gold & such.
Pirates, filled with greed!
Filthy lucre ain't much
When you sell your soul
And check your WATCH...

Time ticks by.
What have you done?
You're getting old
And under the gun
You gave your all...
And your children run.
Wild as beasts
They have their fun
Doing drugs & drinking.
Now your heart breaks, RUN.

You look back
Through a different lens
Wish you could hit delete
And do it again...
But it don't work
Like that, my friend.

You went to church
& you were bored
Your riches in your
Pocket stored
Righteous people
You abhorred
You loved not them
Much less the Lord.

Now before Him
On your face
You've been undone
You don't have GRACE!
You made it big
In the rat race...

But all your life
Was just a WASTE.
