America is my country, and i love this ground
you don't have to go too far for peace to be found
from mountain streams to the forests of giant trees
it has a bountiful beauty as far as the eye can see

this land is full of opportunity and full of gold
from the city streets and alleys, to the old dirt roads
this land is full of dreamers and full of winners too
this land was fought so hard for, just for me and you

this land is open from the ground to the sky
from where the corn grows tall to where the eagles fly
this land is for dreamers, this land is for you and me
this land is the only place where i want to be
