He played with his spud gun,
she had scabby knees
but potatoes didn't grow on trees
and these times were very hard
so he used the rolled up acorn leaves
which fell in his back yard.

Spud guns were fun and
she was not but he was only ten
and when in five years time he thought
I wish my dad had never bought
a spud gun for his son
she had gone away.
From 2013.
