A flower that blooms only at night
It will close within the mornings light
Blooming only once a year the buds close when there time is up
The flower is white like the moon
Its beauty unrefined
The plant was given to us by a relative
It never blooms until her untimely death
Now we cherish each bloom like a reminder that she is still here
We always see her every year
