What more could I want
Than a living for this
Repressed gift,
Sustenance,
And a place to exist
In consistently nearing
A writer’s potential
But limited by
What it lacks in essential
Deprived of what I
Need to buy,
Stay alive’s
Are like locks on the chains
Binding me to these rhymes
