Jun 2013
out of the harbors the tall ships sailed
to lands thousands of miles away
through turgid seas and windy brace
their masts did daily course
sextant employed to navigate
the stars were chartered
following a path to Southern bays
where crews did disembark
to set up colonies for mother lands
during the 1700's the tall ships
set sail from England and Spain
to foreignΒ Β shores of exotic vegetation
there they settled and stayed
to populate the terrain
