there was a little goldfish he lived in a bowl
swimming round in circles poor little soul
goldfish he decided he had. had enough
living in a bowl his life was rather tough.

he jumped in to the sink a slithered down the drain
landed in the gutter and washed away by rain
washed in to a river now the fish was free
no longer in a bowl happy now was he.

there were lots of fish to keep him company
he was free at last just like he longed to be
goldfish he his free to this very day
happy and content and glad he runaway
