with luck lasting
you say rip off
i say found art
a verse that's cobbled together
with twine bottles tin cans
and a rusty milk pail
sunday's jester thursday's harlequin
and monday's clown
I'll be your joker when you're down
you tap out a rhythm
and say it's a song
I say it's Morse Code
