Gutter Life

On wet days the gutter fills with regrets

We are left to walk alongside

as they gush down dank city streets

The water collects debris

but abandons it quickly

With no time to process any situation

the matter is only to rot and block

Finally the drain may be reached

but it is a short relief

as it will drain all feeling

pulling it out and polluting the coast
